The mission
Tax computation & filling of 2000+ clients
Till date the tax computation and filling used to be done manually and was done on excel or on paper, including client communication by following a broken and patched up workflow.
APPLICATION
2000+ Client data needs to flow through the application to 30+ team
Key Insight
Each team member had to compile tax of 100+ clients
Each team member had to got through 1000 of documents in each cycle and had no room for making errors.

Clear navigation through each step for clients
A clear client wise navigation so that the user is not lost in the process, each client have all the steps listed which needs to be completed for successful tax filing

Helped in mapping end - to- end approval flow
Cracking the approval flow, where 2 user can go back anf forth with a task sealed the deal.

Key Learnings
Proximity to users always beats assumptions. Real understanding came from watching people work, not theorising about it.
Be a chronic communicator. Sharing flows early with engineers, the PM, and stakeholders kept decisions tight and rework minimal.
In real world theoretical process is not followed its things are always haphazard can take a 360 degree turn.
